How things (especially voting) work around here...

Here's how things are going to work during this grant cycle:

The grant cycle runs from 11/1-11/28.  We are giving away $5000.

From 11/1-11/22

Teams tell their stories and try to convince 5fers to cast their vote for them when the voting begins. 5fers have the chance to ask questions of Teams (evaluate) and/or post about why they support a particular Team (advocate). New members can join. 100% of their donations help to seed our next $5000 grant. 

From 11/22-11/28

We Vote!  Voting begins on 11/22 at 6PM PST and ends on 11/28 at 6PM PST. Voting instructions arrive via our email newsletter. In order to ensure that every 5fer's vote counts, we will close to new members at 4PM on 11/28.
