if you want to catch a lot of rain, put out a lot of teacups...

Do you have a system for getting feedback from the people you are trying to serve?

We measure our impact and receive feedback through pre and post program surveys for each of our programs. We also find that having program alumni as interns and a young staff makes our participants more comfortable in giving us honest feedback.

Asking our beneficiaries for feedback is extremely important for us as a youth-directed organization. We prioritize direct involvement from the girls themselves for our programs. Through feedback from the 2010 fellows, the involvement of interns (all program alumni) and one-year board appointments for the 2011 fellows, we are working to integrate the ideas and values of our beneficiaries into the organization.
