STEP FIVE - INVITE SOME STALWART SUPPORTERS TO JOIN
The best way to bring a Team page to life is to have some stalwart supporters of your organization join us here on the 5 for Fairness site and on your Team page.
It really helps if the Founder or Executive Director joins, as well as any other key staff players. They will be able to answer questions authoritatively and give us an idea of the kind of people they are and the work they are doing.
Equally important, invite a few of your organization's passionate volunteers to join us here as well and share their love for your Team!
The best way to invite people to join the 5 for Fairness site is to send them an email with this link:
Ask them to visit the site and click the JOIN button in the upper right hand corner of the page.
IMPORTANT: Joining the site is free but in order to officially vote for your Team, your supporters must donate a minimum of $5 to our collective grant account.
It's an extra step to ask someone to join here, so it is probably a good idea to only invite people to join the site here if you think they will be willing to join the conversation and help tell your Team's story on your Team page.
If you just want someone to vote for your Team, ask them to come to the home page, click the DONATE button and donate $5 or more. We'll give them a place in the circle and get them all set to vote.
