I want to be as articulate as Tom Field and say exactly the same thing.  You da bomb, sista.

When you demonstrate an intuitive need to make a difference, manifest the need with a creatively productive idea, end up actually making a difference...well, it should be no surprise that you inspire admiration, loyalty, and shared commitment. I am so grateful to you for affording me with an easy way to contribute and participate. I really do believe that the creation of equality and empowerment for young women is a key, if not the key, to the resolution of so many socio-political problems in the world. Anna...you are a hero! xoxoTom

Thanks for your very nice note, Anna. I am so impressed and amazed with your leadership skills, and "stick-to-it-iveness," as my mother would say.  It's incredible what you've created.  See you Saturday.  Best, Zelda

Hey you,

That'd be great to see you in June. Please (!) let me know when you figure out when.  Finally got a JOB on an incredible start-up and working my butt off, but all's good.  xxx

Thanks Anna!!  ... we do owe this one all to you.  Thanks to you and the 5 for Fairness community for continuing to support us - we are so excited to put this money to great use!

I get the same feeling when I see your name. I was just talking to a friend about Mima and what fun we had growing up. I am just now making summer plans to head to Michigan with our daughters. It is surprising to many that they are still interested in going there, but then again, they haven't been there, so have no idea what they are missing.

Love,

Lili

The gist of this contest is that people sign up to become Officially Sponsored by Prilosec in whatever endeavor they are most passionate about.

If you know me, you know that I generally shy away from looking like a complete idiot if at all possible. Hence, I would normally approach this sort… Continue

This had arrived in my mailbox:

It stopped me in my tracks. It's not that I didn't know about Amartya Sen's groundbreaking work. I knew that Sen, a Nobel Prize-winning economist, had documented the number of girls who are… Continue
