Hi Deborah,

Please check out my Team Page for an incredible organization called the Akilah Institute for Women. I am deeply inspired by the work they are doing to help educate and train young women in post-genocidal Rwanda. In a scant two years, they will graduate their first class in August 2012 with 100% placement in the workforce. The curriculum model has been so successful that they plan to expand to other developing African nations. Scholarship money is crucial to help enroll more students.   Please check out my Team page and if you like what you see, I hope you will cast your vote for Akilah!

Thank you,

Patti H

Hey there! My name is Ambar and I'm an intern for Women LEAD. We would like to invite you to like our page once more and help us win! The $5000 we win will build "Chautara," our resource center. Chautara will serve as our office, training rooms and resource center for our organization and the wider young women leaders community in Kathmandu. Hope that you can help!

Hi:
I'm Payton, a 5fer intern, and am just dropping by to say "Thank you!" for being such a loyal and active 5fer.  It is because of members like you that we have been able to give away seven (yes, seven!) $5000 grants to organizations working to make the world fair for girls and women - and we're only a few hundred dollars away from our eighth!  We are so appreciative of the way you have put up with all our many growing pains and hope you keep on believing in our circle and the good we can do.  Thanks again…

Hi Deb:
Yes, voting starts tomorrow.  A couple of housekeeping items for you, as Team leader:

1. Voting (fingers crossed) will start at 6PM PST and end on 4/23 at 6PM PST.

2. Gift memberships are much easier to give now. These are a great way to build up your Team LIKEs as well as votes. Here's the process:

a)People indicate how many gift memberships they would like to give via our gorgeous (if we do say so ourselves) new Donation page.

b)once they donate, they will be taken to a form to fill out the names and emails of their giftees

c)the giftees will receive an email with a link to a form where they can collect their gift memberships.

d)we add their emails to the voter database

e)giftees get an email with a link to the ballot.

With the exception of us adding their emails to the voter database, the process is entirely automated so it should be much, much easier this time around.

3. Anyone who has ever donated - or received a gift membership - is eligible to vote but not everyone stays on our Mail Chimp mailing list so if you know who joined last time, send them an email with a link to the ballot after voting begins.

4. Keep posting and answering questions because I will send out three newsletters to those who have not voted during the week!

Got any questions? Fire away by leaving a comment on my page.

Good luck!

Anna
