I’m the co-founder of Women LEAD, one of the teams competing for the grant this month. I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Our organization strongly believes that building young women's confidence and skills is key to empowerment. Hi Flannery, I'm Payton M a 5 for fairness intern. Now that we have ended the last grant cycle it's time to raise another $5,000 so that we can provide one for a new team. We currently have slightly under $4,000 and you can help us reach our goal by donating just $5. Hi Flannery and welcome to 5 for Fairness! I can speak for the entirety of the site when I say we are thrilled to have you. Our Grant Account, fueled by every new member’s contribution, just reached $5000 which means we now need to decide which organization helping to make the world more fair for girls deserves a $5000 grant. From today until March 7, any member can start a Team for an organization they believe deserves a grant. The rest of us do our part by joining Teams we believe deserve to move to the Voting Round (the 5 teams with the most members on March 7 move to the Voting Round) and asking questions of Team leaders to get a better sense of what their Team is about.
