We build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle root causes of poverty and discrimination. We have equipped 200 promising…See More

Hi India,

I’m the co-founder of Women LEAD, one of the teams competing for the grant this month. I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Our organization strongly believes that building young women's confidence and skills is key to empowerment. Please check out our page and website to see the work that we do and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

India,

Sorry to have taken so long to respond to your invitation to join your team we were away for a while with blissfuly no internet and time has just gotten away from me. I have just voted for Man Up and left a post explaining why.

That said I think that we all agree cutting must be stopped. What sways me is that it has received a lot of attention, I can't help but feel a tug to support the small group that is out to put an end to ALL types of discrimination aginst women.

I look forward to the next go round and have no doubt that we will find ourselves on the same team many times. Good luck!
