Hi Keren,

I’m the co-founder of Women LEAD, one of the teams competing for the grant this month. I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Our organization strongly believes that building young women's confidence and skills is key to empowerment. Please check out our page and website to see the work that we do and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Hi Keren, I'm Payton M a 5 for fairness intern. Now that we have ended the last grant cycle it's time to raise another $5,000 so that we can provide one for a new team. We currently have slightly under $4,000 and you can help us reach our goal by donating just $5. Women's rights are very important to me as a young girl and your $5 will contribute to bringing awareness to women's rights issues. We appreciate all you've done and continue to do! Hi Karen,

Because RowLA has not been very active in this grant cycle, I am writing to ask if you would consider supporting and voting for Orchid Project. Orchid’s sole aim is to end the terrible practice of female genital cutting.

Orchid works to end FGC by raising awareness of the practice, connecting individuals with local, national and international organizations, and through relentless global advocacy.

I know Orchid would be so grateful for your support and that this $5,000 would mean a lot to their work. Please consider voting for them!

Thanks!

Emily

Hi, my name is Madi L and I'm a 5 for Fairness intern. I'm stopping by to let you know now is the perfect time to support any Teams you think deserve spots in the Voting Round.  There are seven teams in the running and only five spots, so please take the time to look at all of the teams and support your favorites.  Here is how you can become a Team supporter.

Go to the teams tab and look at the teams individually, and if you find one to be intriguing, click the +Support (Team name) button on the top right corner of the Team page. For more "official" instructions on how to support a Team, click hereClick here to see all of the teams in the running. We appreciate all of your help and support!

Thank you,

Madi L

Hi Keren - it was great to meet you yesterday.  I am thrilled to have WriteGirl be part of our (growing!) family of grantees. Definitely keep us posted on all your news via the main discussion on the home page, and video/photo uploads as we'll soon take down the WriteGirl Team page and move you to our permanent Grantees page.  xo Anna

Hi Keren! Keep bringing your supporters in and get out that vote!  There are pending members on both sides (just waiting on their donations) and also members who have not yet voted. We are stopping accepting new members at 6PM because approving/checking/inviting is too much of a process to do in that last hour!  You have gained some new 5fer fans! Fingers crossed! xo Anna

Keren, great job getting your supporters out!  You probably have thought of this, but just in case, you might want to consider using some of their comments (the ones they post after voting) in your Tweets and FB postings.  They are good at sharing the love and I think hearing authentic voices of supporters is the best possbile way to communicate the culture of an organization and spread the word.

Keep up the great work!

Anna
