Me again, here to thank you again for your donation(s!) to our grant account.  It is something very special to have the company of old, dear friends like you on this venture.  Your support for - and belief in - the good our circle can do is so appreciated.

Now...in the hopes that we can at least grab a coffee...I know I'll be in the city for the day and night of Monday, June 4.  How about you?  Would love, love, love to see you and, if I'm really lucky, Graham too!

I'm Payton M, a 5fer intern, and am just dropping by to say "Thank you!" for being such a loyal and active 5fer.  It is because of members like you that we have been able to give away seven (yes, seven!) $5000 grants to organizations working to make the world fair for girls and women - and we're only a few hundred dollars away from our eighth!  We are so appreciative of the way you have put up with all our many growing pains and hope you keep on believing in our circle and the good we can do.  Thanks again…

Will be back in first week of June for sure but don't know when I'll be in the city yet - am going to Mom's in NJ and then possibly will stay there to see Quinn compete in the IRAs - collegiate rowing championships.  If Dartmouth makes it.  Anyway, will let you know for sure and send me your Mom's first name OK so we can send her her gift membership...Cannot wait to hear about your new job - I am so happy for you! xo

Thank you so much for donating - and for giving gift memberships! - to help us get our grant account back to $5000. I'm very grateful for your presence in our circle.  Great to follow you on Twitter too. Now if we can only actually connect for coffee or a walk or SOMETHING when I am next back in NYC. Going to get a visit on the books in early June. Will let you know when I know the dates. In the meantime, thanks and love.  Anna

PS Dreamt about being at Stanford last night.  Campus especially gorgeous since it included a snow covered mountain. Go figure.

I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! Because of your past support of The Global Fund For Women, which has not been active in this grant cycle, I am writing to ask if you would consider sharing your support with The Orchid Project.  The Orchid Projects sole aim is to end the practice of female genital cutting.  

As a woman and a mother I feel compelled to do my part to end the human rights violation that three million girls suffer each year as their genitals are cut without permission or anastasia.  

The Orchid Project works to end FGC by respectfully raising awareness of FCG, connecting individuals and local, national, and international organizations, and advocacy.  

I know Orchid would be so grateful for your support and that this $5,000 would mean a lot to their work. Please consider supporting them to get through to the next round.
