Hi Lori,

I’m the co-founder of Women LEAD, one of the teams competing for the grant this month. I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Our organization strongly believes that building young women's confidence and skills is key to empowerment. Please check out our page and website to see the work that we do and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

We were (and are!) friends but I changed my pages so there is one page (my old one) which I use as the face and voice of 5 for Fairness, and this one is my personal page where I just am friends with my IRL friends!  All is well, thanks.  Nicholas Kristof linked to the post I wrote yesterday on his facebook page so that has made it quite a lively weekend indeed.  I will never again deny the power of a single tweet!  Otherwise, working hard here on 5 for Fairness and looking forward to a summer with just a little traveling.  You? xoxo

Hi there. I'm Eliza, one of the 5 for Fairness interns, and I want to make sure you knew that we are about to start a new voting round and decide where to send our second 5 for Fairness grant. I'm here today to ask you to join at least one Team that you think deserves a grant. The Teams that are in the running are MOSTE (Motivating Our Students Through Experience), Help the Afghan Children, Man Up, Global Fund for Women, Women's Empowerment in Uganda and Global Girl Media

In order to recapture the site's vitality and to give the newer Teams a fair chance, we hope that you will take a minute of your time and join a team today. Thank you.

I love the GFW too and am so glad that we will have a chance to build support for it and also to help spread the word about the complicated, subtle and powerful work they do. xoxo

Again, so glad to have you here - one of the wellsprings of my passion for the cause is our magic afternoon together in India.
