What draws you to our cause?
I love your concept! And as a volunteer for WriteGirl, I LOVE what they do - at WriteGirl we can't save young teenage girls at risk and we don't try to - we just light a fire of hope and confidence within them using creative writing and mentoring, and they save themselves. With our help they write brilliant new futures and it's so wonderful to see! Thank you SO MUCH the work you do!

Founded by songwriter, vocalist and poet Keren Taylor in 2001, WriteGirl promotes confidence and self-expression through creative writing to empower teen girls…

Hi Marni,

I’m the co-founder of Women LEAD, one of the teams competing for the grant this month. I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Our organization strongly believes that building young women's confidence and skills is key to empowerment. Please check out our page and website to see the work that we do and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Hi Marni, I'm Payton M a 5 for fairness intern. Now that we have ended the last grant cycle it's time to raise another $5,000 so that we can provide one for a new team. We currently have slightly under $4,000 and you can help us reach our goal by donating just $5. Women's rights are very important to me as a young girl and your $5 will contribute to bringing awareness to women's rights issues. We appreciate all you've done and continue to do! Hi, my name is Madi L and I'm a 5 for Fairness intern. I'm stopping by to let you know now is the perfect time to support any Teams you think deserve spots in the Voting Round.  There are seven teams in the running and only five spots, so please take the time to look at all of the teams and support your favorites.  Here is how you can become a Team supporter.

Go to the teams tab and look at the teams individually, and if you find one to be intriguing, click the +Support (Team name) button on the top right corner of the Team page. For more "official" instructions on how to support a Team, click hereClick here to see all of the teams in the running. We appreciate all of your help and support!

Thank you,

Madi L
