Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Our organization strongly believes that building young women's confidence and skills is key to empowerment. Michael, in order to keep our Databases in order, I need all voting members of 5 for Fairness to be on our mailing list (though I can set your delivery preferences so you only get email when it is time to vote). I have been thinking about your comment re splitting the grants and am going to address it after the madness of this grant cycle is over. In the meantime, do you want to stay a member here, in which case I will add you back to the mailinglist with the least possible delivery frequency OR I can delete you here too. Up to you though I'd be sad to see you go...Lemme know!

Hi and welcome to 5 for Fairness! I'm Anna, the founder. You have joined in the middle of a grant cycle, which means we are getting ready to give away a $5000 grant. Right now, our members are evaluating the Teams in the running. You are welcome - encouraged actually! - to ask questions of any of the Team leaders by clicking the LIKE button on their Team page and responding to a discussion on their page - or starting one for that matter. We'll begin our actual voting process on 11/22 and vote for a week, at the end of which the Team with the most votes will get a big check. We'll be sending you email newsletters with updates throughout the grant cycle including one telling you it is time to come back and vote for your favorite to win the $5000 grant. In the meantime, thanks again for joining!
