What will you do with the 5000 Dollars?

As a large and well established organization, Equality Now clearly deals with a lot of different issues. If Equality Now wins this grant, can you tell us with any specificity how the $5000 will be spent. Will it go towards operating expenses or channeled into a specific program, and if so, which one?See More

As a new organization, do you have a plan for sustaining funding over the next few years? If you win this grant and expand to more and more schools, will your expansion significantly increase your expenses? I'm interested in your plan to sustain the project and continue working on this issue into the future.See More

I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities. Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Please check out our page and website to see the work that we do and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Because of your past support of The Global Fund For Women, which has not been active in this grant cycle, I am writing to ask if you would consider sharing your support with The Orchid Project.  The Orchid Projects sole aim is to end the practice of female genital cutting.

As a woman and a mother I feel compelled to do my part to end the human rights violation that three million girls suffer each year as their genitals are cut without permission or anastasia.

The Orchid Project works to end FGC by respectfully raising awareness of FCG, connecting individuals and local, national, and international organizations, and advocacy.

I know Orchid would be so grateful for your support and that this $5,000 would mean a lot to their work. Please consider supporting them to get through to the next round.

Have a wonderful day and thank you for your consideration,

Holly

Hi,

My name is Payton M, I am a 5 For Fairness intern. I’m stopping by to let you know that now is the time to support your favorite team or teams to help them advance into the voting round. Seven teams are competing for five available spots in the voting round. The five teams that make it to the voting round will have a chance to win our $5000 grant, but only one team will win. The teams need your support now to make it into the voting round.  Here's how to support a Team:

First click on the Teams tab at the top of any page to see all of the teams. Click on any team that sounds interesting to you. If you like what you see and want to become a supporter, click the +Support (Team name) button in the upper right hand corner of the Team page. You can support as many Teams as you think deserve a spot in the Voting Round. Click here for more information on how to support a Team or, if you are ready to start, click here to see all the Teams.

Thanks for supporting 5 For Fairness,

Payton M.
