Hi:
I'm Diana, a 5fer intern, and am just dropping by to say "Thank you!" for being such a loyal and active 5fer.  It is because of members like you that we have been able to give away seven (yes, seven!) $5000 grants to organizations working to make the world fair for girls and women - and we're only a few hundred dollars away from our eighth!  We are so appreciative of the way you have put up with all our many growing pains and hope you keep on believing in our circle and the good we can do.  Thanks again…

Hey Ruya,

Just a heads up that no one seems to be manning the MGEF Team page - there are a couple of questions that need answering. I sent a message via Twitter and left Amanda a comment here but haven't heard anything back.  If you don't want to participate, I can easily take you off the site.  But if you do want to participate - we start voting tomorrow, you need to have someone paying a little attention...Thanks!  Anna

Hi and welcome to 5 for Fairness! I'm Anna, the founder. In order to become a voting member of our giving circle and vote to help decide the winner of our next - and all future - grants,  you will need to donate a minimum of $5 to our collective grant account. 100% of your donation goes directly to the grant account.  You can  donate via Paypal (they take all major credit cards) or the USPS still delivers to:
5 for Fairness
PO Box 491623
Los Angeles, CA 90049

We'll be giving another grant away soon and look forward to your  help deciding which nonprofit working to make the world fair for girls most deserves it. If you have any questions about how things work, please leave a comment on my page.

Again, welcome to the circle!

Anna

PS It sounds like MGEF might make a great 5 for Fairness Team. You'll just need to find a passionate volunteer to join and start it for you.  If you'd like to discuss the idea, let me know!
