Ruya Norton said… Hi there Solar Sister!
We're thrilled to see another team from the Sub-Saharan region of Africa here on 5 for Fairness. Like Solar Sister, MGEF fights for the self-sufficiency of women by offering scholarships to girls and community education for the Maasai community. Through our efforts, we've educated over 4,000 Maasai on the harmful effects of FGM and early marriage, while backing 40 woman-run businesses through our Business Training program. If you have any questions for us, please feel free to post it on our Team wall!
Thanks!

Claire Charamnac said… Hi Team Solar Sister,
I’m the co-founder of Women LEAD, one of the teams competing for the grant this month. I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Our organization strongly believes that building young women's confidence and skills is key to empowerment. Please check out our page and website to see the work that we do and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!
To join and vote, all you need to do is donate $5 to our grant account.
