I never thought I could make enough of a difference, in my giving, with the limited amount of money I have - so this cause affords me the opportunity to change someone's life even though I'm not a millionaire and only have a small amount of resources to work with.

Your generosity is making it possible for us to keep giving grants away and for 5fers like Jodie to join and make a meaningful contribution to the cause of fairness too.

I’m the co-founder of Women LEAD, one of the teams competing for the grant this month. I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! I'm Eliza, a 5fer intern, and I just wanted to thank you for donating another $5 dollars to our current grant; it is greatly appreciated!

Because of your past support of The Global Fund For Women, which has not been active in this grant cycle, I am writing to ask if you would consider sharing your support with The Orchid Project.  The Orchid Projects sole aim is to end the practice of female genital cutting.  

As a woman and a mother I feel compelled to do my part to end the human rights violation that three million girls suffer each year as their genitals are cut without permission or anastasia.  

The Orchid Project works to end FGC by respectfully raising awareness of FCG, connecting individuals and local, national, and international organizations, and advocacy.  

I know Orchid would be so grateful for your support and that this $5,000 would mean a lot to their work. Please consider supporting them to get through to the next round.
