Hi Tracy,

I’m the co-founder of Women LEAD, one of the teams competing for the grant this month. I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Our organization strongly believes that building young women's confidence and skills is key to empowerment. Please check out our page and website to see the work that we do and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Hi,

My name is Payton M, I am a 5 For Fairness intern. I’m stopping by to let you know that now is the time to support your favorite team or teams to help them advance into the voting round. Seven teams are competing for five available spots in the voting round. The five teams that make it to the voting round will have a chance to win our $5000 grant, but only one team will win. The teams need your support now to make it into the voting round.  Here's how to support a Team:

First click on the Teams tab at the top of any page to see all of the teams. Click on any team that sounds interesting to you. If you like what you see and want to become a supporter, click the +Support (Team name) button in the upper right hand corner of the Team page. You can support as many Teams as you think deserve a spot in the Voting Round. Click here for more information on how to support a Team or, if you are ready to start, click here to see all the Teams.

Thanks for supporting 5 For Fairness,

Payton M.

Hi! I don't know if you have gotten a chance to read my post on 5 for Fairness about why I am so committed to Man Up and why I think it is such a fantastic place to send our grant in my Aunt Mima's name. If you haven't and have a minute it's right here:

I hope after reading this you feel inspired to go out and vote for our team ;-) if you do decide to vote Man Up, here's the place to do it:

Thanks so much!

Hi T-
I don't know if you've joined a 5 for Fairness team yet to vote for the first $5000 award, but I thought I'd suggest you join the Panzi Hospital group. My friend Mary is actively involved with them and she's already sent you a message with a link to their page. Take a look and vote - the winner will be selected very soon!

Me, too! So glad that 5 for Fairness pulled you into your very first social network and promise that I will do everything I can to make it a great experience. For starters, you won't be getting endless messages from me! But, we do have our first $5000 grant to give away and I am really excited to see where this group will decide to send it. In the meantime, we have a 5 for Fairness Holiday Album - your sister is featured in it! - and we'd love a photograph from you for it too. To just look at it, click here. To add a photo, click here. Again, welcome and Happy Holidays!
Anna

PS I'm really looking forward to hearing your cultural anthropologist's take on the different organizations under consideration here and on how we can most productively help make the world more fair for girls...
