Hi Valle and thank you so much for donating again to help us get our grant account back to $5000. I'm grateful for every donation of course, but will admit to being particularly grateful to those 5fers - like you - who chip in more than their share. We've now given away $35,000 to 7 different organizations in 6 different countries.  We're nothing if not a work in progress and have many improvements to make,  but each time we give away a grant I know we are supporting a terrific project, building awareness for all the Teams, giving each Team an opportunity to build more effective online story telling skills and growing our own circle of supporters dedicated to making the world fair for girls and women. And all that from an all-volunteer group!  Thanks so much for being part of our circle and for your extra-generous support. xo Anna

Hi Valle,

I’m the co-founder of Women LEAD, one of the teams competing for the grant this month. I’d love your support to empower more than 200 young women in Nepal to become leaders in their schools and communities! Your vote would help us build the capacity of future female leaders to tackle the root causes of poverty and discrimination. Please check out our page and website to see the work that we do and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Hi Valle,

I'm Eliza, a 5fer intern and I am here to ask you to help us get to our next $5000 grant.  We are only $1,857 away but in order to get there, we need every member to donate another $5 dollars. If we each chip in just a little, we will get there easily. To donate via Paypal, click here. Thank you for your support!

Hi,

My name is Payton M, I am a 5 For Fairness intern. I’m stopping by to let you know that now is the time to support your favorite team or teams to help them advance into the voting round. Seven teams are competing for five available spots in the voting round. The five teams that make it to the voting round will have a chance to win our $5000 grant, but only one team will win. The teams need your support now to make it into the voting round.  Here's how to support a Team:

First click on the Teams tab at the top of any page to see all of the teams. Click on any team that sounds interesting to you. If you like what you see and want to become a supporter, click the +Support (Team name) button in the upper right hand corner of the Team page. You can support as many Teams as you think deserve a spot in the Voting Round. Click here for more information on how to support a Team or, if you are ready to start, click here to see all the Teams.

Thanks for supporting 5 For Fairness,

Payton M.

Thanks for voting, Valle!  Agree, it's very hard to decide among the Teams which makes me so happy.  We can all feel glad, no matter where the money goes for any given grant...
