Friday Fairness: The Coalition for Adolescent Girls:Ending Poverty with Girls

This organization sounds really cool. It was founded in 2005 by the United Nations Foundation and Nike Foundation. Their mission is to change impoverished communities by investing their energy in the welfare of girls. They believe that if young girls are educated and healthy, they can help end poverty since these now young women will have fewer children later in life and make better decisions. The Coalition for Adolescent Girls is focused on "collecting and distributing the facts that describe the positive change girls have on their communities, identifying the girl-specific actions and investments that will ignite change, and forming a community of like-minded organizations with diverse expertise to inform our collective work."
